Albert M. G. Garcia is the President and Principal Consultant of Garsworth Consulting a Manila based marketing and trade development consultancy with 30 years commercial experience in Australia, South East Asia and Indo China.

Albert M. G. Garcia lived in Sydney for 25 years from 1971, consequently fully appreciates cross-cultural considerations of doing business in the Philippines, South East Asia and Indo China from an international perspective. Albert’s practical commercial experience in international trading, import & export and industry background in food, hospitality, tourism, water sector, sports and entertainment underpins his consultancy expertise. These qualifications contribute to a greater chance of success for projects undertaken in the region.

Albert is currently an Honorary Investment and Trade Representative, appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry, a Trustee of the Philippine Australia Business Council (PABC) and member of the ANZ Chamber of Commerce.

Albert is a regular resource speaker at trade seminars sponsored by various government agencies such as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Technology Livelihood Resource Center (TLRC), Center for International Exhibition and Mission (CITEM), Export Development Council, Bureau of Export Trade Promotion (BETP) and Philexport.

Other interests are Rotary, food manufacturing, agriculture, travel, import-export, and golf. Albert has a degree in Business Administration majors in Marketing from La Salle University. Albert represented the Philippines as a member of the National Senior Football team from 1966 - 1971 and was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame.
